Henrik Johansson is the new business developer for BST Group, tasked with taking the company to the next level. After 30 years at JCI, where he led business and technology development in fire protection, Henrik is now looking forward to driving the group’s innovation and digitalization journey.
Henrik Johansson joined BST Group in August 2022. He has a long and extensive career, starting in 1992 at Tyco (now Johnson Controls International “JCI”), where he began building the Swedish operations, which did not exist at the time. Within JCI, specializing in security solutions and fire protection, Henrik has held roles such as Nordic Sales Manager, Department Manager for the Swedish and Finnish sprinkler operations, and Managing Director in Sweden. In 2012, Henrik became responsible for business development for the Nordic region and specific business areas within Europe—a role he now takes on within BST Group to drive development in innovation, sustainability, technology, and digitalization.

With Henrik on board, the group will now accelerate both technical and business development. Henrik’s network also opens up many exciting business opportunities in both the Nordic region and Europe. Several development projects focusing on digitalization and sustainability have already been initiated, with others in the startup phase. According to Peter Bühler, CEO of BST Group, the recruitment aligns with the group’s goals in both expansion and technical development and is viewed positively.
