It has now been confirmed that private equity firm Norvestor will become the new majority owner of BST Group. As a result, the previous owner, IK Partners, which has been the main shareholder since spring 2019, will sell its stake.
Norvestor is a Nordic private equity firm that has been investing in mid-sized companies with the potential to achieve a leading Nordic or international position for nearly 30 years. The aim of these investments is to support companies’ growth, including expanding into new geographic markets, typically through both acquisitions and organic initiatives.

The transaction is expected to be completed before the end of the year, with Norvestor becoming the largest shareholder in BST Group.
