BST Group’s Nordic expansion continues with the acquisition of the Norwegian sprinkler installer Aqua Tech, which completes the circle in the group’s geographic ambition for the Nordic region.
Aqua Tech is a well-established company specializing in the installation and service of sprinkler systems. The company now forms BST Group’s platform for further expansion in the Norwegian market.
Operated from offices in Oslo by the brothers Morten and Mikkel Finstad, Aqua Tech has been active as a specialist in the design and installation of sprinkler systems since 1994. Today, most projects are found within the expansive warehouse and logistics segment, where Aqua Tech has often won customer trust through early participation in projects and a high level of service.
The acquisition also includes the company Norsk Sprinkler, which operates under the same management as Aqua Tech.
“Mikkel and I are very excited to take Aqua Tech to a new level together with BST Group. We see great opportunities for synergies while the service offering within BST Group is attractive to offer our customers here in Norway,” says Morten Finstad, CEO of Aqua Tech AS.
Aqua Tech will continue to operate under its own well-established brand and in the same organization as before. BST Group’s ambition to become a Nordic specialist in fire protection is now complete with the acquisition of Aqua Tech. Further expansion can now take place within various segments of the fire protection area and to complement the business regionally.
